The largest Oz Lotto jackpot reached $100 million in December 2013, with one-third of Australian adults participating. Oz Lotto uses a single barrel of 47 balls, numbered from 1 to 47. In each draw, 10 balls are selected randomly: the first 7 are the winning numbers, and the last 3 are supplementary numbers. These supplementary numbers help determine prizes in Divisions 2, 4, 6, and 7.
